Creating and using a PATTERN
I have finished my Teddy Bear! The first thing my Nana and I did was we cut out the shape and picked the colour thread we were going to use, I chose Blue as it was the colour of the fabric. Nana got out the Sewing Machine and gave me a practice piece of fabric so I could practice on the Sewing Machine before I started the Teddy Bear, I made a few mistakes like going off the edge of the fabric but I did it, sewing the Teddy Bear and leaving a hole for the stuffing. We put the stuffing in and stitched it up. For the final part I put Buttons as eyes (as chosen by my cousin Lillian) and black tread for the mouth. My cousins Xanthe and Lillian really liked the Teddy Bear. I did a good job.
I can't wait to show you the Teddy Bear on Monday.
